Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Mortgage Finance Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, data analysis, and computer engineering, with expertise in mortgage products, risk management, and advanced Excel functions. This role requires proficiency in programming, data visualization, and big data tools to drive business insights and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and manage mortgage product pricing and interest rate risk.
Utilize advanced Excel functions and VBA for financial modeling and process automation.
Interpret large datasets to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
Use big data tools such as SQL, Python, R, or Hadoop for data management and analysis.
Create interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI.
Apply computer engineering principles to integrate and manage data sources.
Ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple platforms.
Collaborate with tea
Communicate findings and insights effectively to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (required).
Experience:
Strong understanding of mortgage products, pricing, and interest rate risk management.
Skills:
Advanced Excel Proficiency: Mastery of complex formulas, financial modeling, and pivot tables.
Excel VBA Expertise: Ability to automate processes, create custom functions, and enhance workflow efficiency.
Data Analysis: Strong ability to interpret large datasets and generate insights.
Big Data Tools: Experience with SQL, Python, R, or Hadoop for data analysis.
Data Visualization: Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
Programming Knowledge: Understanding of Python, Java, or C++.
Data Integration: Experience managing and integrating data from various sources.
Problem-Solving: Critical thinking and analytical skills.
Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy and data validation skills.
Communication: Ability to convey complex information clearly to stakeholders.
