Data Aggregation & Analysis Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Aggregation & Analysis Software Engineer with expertise in Python. In this role, you will design and develop robust data processing pipelines that ingest, transform, and aggregate data from various sources. You will work on projects that require sophisticated data grouping and analytical techniques—delivering structured outputs to support strategic decision making.

Key Responsibilities
• Data Processing & Normalization:
o Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data.
o Implement routines to standardize and normalize data from multiple sources.
o Handle numerical conversions and process various data types accurately.
• Data Aggregation & Analysis:
o Identify and group overlapping data elements to create meaningful aggregates.
o Develop algorithms for advanced data grouping and summarization.
o Ensure data accuracy and integrity through robust validation and error handling.
• Collaboration & Documentation:
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
o Document architecture, data flows, and processing logic to ensure long-term maintainability.
• Innovation & Tooling:
o Leverage modern development tools and libraries in Python to build scalable and reliable data processing solutions.
o Continuously seek improvements to enhance performance and maintainability.

Requirements
• Technical Proficiency:
o Expert-level proficiency in Python, with a strong record of writing clean and maintainable code.
o Demonstrated experience with data parsing and transformation.
o Solid understanding of numerical processing and handling various data formats.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
o Proven ability to design and implement solutions that convert complex datasets into structured, actionable insights.
o Experience with data aggregation and grouping algorithms is essential.


Experience:
o 3+ years of professional experience in software development or data engineering focused on data processing and aggregation.
o Prior experience in environments handling complex datasets is highly desirable.
