Software Developer (Automated Texas DPS Appointment Booking System)

We are looking for a skilled software developer to create an automated system that will search for, track, and book DPS appointments for our customers. Currently, appointment availability is limited, requiring manual effort to find earlier slots. We need a custom-built automation tool that can cycle through different cities, check appointment availability, and book the first available slot that meets our requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
The developer will design a script or software application that can log into the Texas DPS scheduling system, input customer details, and scan for available appointments in various cities.

The system should be capable of cycling through different locations such as Plano, Carrollton, and Sachse, checking for specific target dates (e.g., March 13 or March 14).

Once an appointment is found, the system should either automatically book the slot or send an alert to notify our team to complete the reservation manually.

The software should have logging capabilities to track available slots, booked appointments, and search history. It should be designed to run efficiently in the background without requiring constant supervision.

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate should have experience in automation, web scraping, or bot development and be comfortable working with Python, Selenium, or API-based automation tools.

They should be familiar with handling CAPTCHAs, session management, and avoiding detection on booking systems while ensuring smooth execution.

Prior experience in automating online booking or scheduling systems is a major plus.

Compensation:
The total budget for this project is $500 - $2,500, depending on experience and scope. Additional monthly maintenance can be offered at $50 - $200/month for updates and improvements.
