Creator Club is a fast-growing digital agency based in Australia, specializing in servicing medical clinics and eCommerce stores in the cannabis industry. We pride ourselves on respect, continuous improvement, and celebrating success. As we expand, we’re looking for a Lead Web Developer to join our team and help build a stronger development structure.

This is more than just a developer role—we want a proactive leader who can manage projects, own processes, and help scale our digital solutions. You’ll work directly with the founder (who has a dev background) to not just execute tasks, but lead and improve systems.

Role Overview
As a Lead Web Developer, you’ll be responsible for both hands-on web development and managing projects efficiently. You’ll oversee Shopify & WordPress builds, implement UX/UI improvements, and take charge of optimizing and maintaining digital assets. This is an opportunity to grow into a key leadership role, helping to refine workflows, mentor future hires, and improve the efficiency of our development processes.

Key Responsibilities
1. Web Development (Hands-On Work)
Full-Stack Development: Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Liquid.
Shopify Development: Customize themes, optimize UX/UI, and integrate apps.
WordPress & WooCommerce: Develop custom themes, plugins, and eCommerce stores using Elementor.
Performance Optimization: Minimize load times and improve Core Web Vitals (speed, mobile responsiveness).
SEO & Conversion Optimization: Implement best practices for ranking and increasing sales.

2. Project & System Management
Lead & Manage Website Projects from planning to launch.
Optimize Workflows: Identify inefficiencies and introduce better processes.
Client & Team Communication: Provide clear updates, set expectations, and ensure deliverables align with client needs.
Quality Control: Perform site audits and troubleshoot issues to maintain top performance.

Who We're Looking For
We need a developer who can think like a manager. Someone who not only codes but understands why certain approaches matter and can implement efficient workflows for the team.

Required Skills & Experience
- Shopify (Highly Preferred)
Liquid coding and Shopify custom development.
UX/UI design & eCommerce conversion optimization.
Shopify app integrations and troubleshooting.

- WordPress & WooCommerce
Custom WordPress theme & plugin development.
Elementor expertise for building interactive sites.
WooCommerce store optimization.

- GoHighLevel (GHL) CRM
Funnel & automation setup.
Landing page customization.

- Web Development
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP.
Understanding of SEO & performance optimization.

- Project & Team Management (Preferred but Not Required)
Ability to manage multiple website projects efficiently.
Experience improving team workflows and development systems.
