Video Editor & Content Strategist (Beauty & Makeup Niche) – Reels, TikToks & YouTube Shorts

We are looking for a highly skilled Video Editor & Content Strategist with beauty and makeup industry experience to edit short-form content (Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) and create viral beauty-focused content that attracts high-end bridal clients and makeup artists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and repurpose makeup tutorials, client transformations, and behind-the-scenes videos into high-quality, viral-style content.

• Add captions, transitions, and motion text overlays that align with luxury bridal and beauty branding.

• Use high-end beauty editing techniques (smooth transitions, close-ups, colour grading for a premium look).

• Research viral trends, sounds, and editing styles to maximise engagement and reach.

• Create multiple variations of videos optimised for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

• Organise and maintain a content library in Google Drive.

• Ensure all videos are optimised for maximum engagement, high retention, and conversions.

Ideal Candidate Should Have:

• Proven experience editing beauty/makeup content (must provide samples).

• Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro & Final Cut Pro.

• Strong understanding of viral beauty content trends and platform-specific best practices.

• Ability to execute high-end beauty editing techniques (smooth transitions, close-ups, high-quality color grading).

• Fast turnaround time (24-48 hours per video).

• Ability to repurpose long-form content into multiple short clips.

Bonus (Preferred, Not Required):

• Basic Canva skills for IG carousels and YouTube thumbnails.

• Experience writing engaging captions for social media.

Pay & Work Expectations:

• Hours: 10-15 hours per week with potential to increase based on performance.

• Pay: Competitive, based on experience and skill level.

• Remote position – must be available for clear communication and revisions if needed.
