About Us:
D&D Landscaping & Lawn Care is a fast-growing residential and commercial landscaping company dedicated to providing high-quality lawn care and grounds maintenance services. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper & Accounting Specialist to manage our financial operations, including invoicing, bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting, and contractor payments.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Invoicing & Accounts Management
Generate and send invoices to clients.
Track payments and follow up on outstanding invoices.
Maintain accurate records of client transactions in QuickBooks Online.
2. Bookkeeping & Financial Management
Record and categorize financial transactions in QuickBooks Online.
Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
Maintain accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
3. Weekly & Monthly Financial Reporting
Provide weekly financial summaries including revenue, expenses, and outstanding balances.
Generate monthly financial reports detailing cash flow, profit/loss statements, and overall business performance.
Assist in budget creation and expense tracking to optimize profitability.
4. Contractor Payments & Payroll Management
Process weekly payments to subcontractors based on completed jobs.
Ensure accurate tracking of contractor earnings and deductions.
Handle payment disputes, missing payments, and reconciliation of labor costs.
5. Tax & Compliance Support
Ensure all financial records are accurate and tax-ready.
Work with tax professionals as needed to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Track and organize financial documents for tax filing and reporting.
6. Communication & Collaboration
Maintain clear communication with management regarding financial performance, upcoming payments, and outstanding invoices.
Be available to answer financial-related questions and provide insights for business decisions.
Assist in streamlining financial workflows for efficiency.
Requirements:
? Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required.
? Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, invoicing, and contractor payroll.
? Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
? Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and stay organized.
? Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of financial best practices.
? Prior experience with service-based businesses or contractor payroll is a plus.
