Position: Video Editor VA
Type of Work: Part-time with an aim to go full-time
Salary: $10 AUD/hr
Hours per Week: 20 hours initially

We are looking for a High-End Film Editor to join our creative team and help bring our projects to life through exceptional video storytelling. If you’re passionate about creating captivating visual content and have an eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
•Edit high-quality video content for promotional materials, client showcases, and social media campaigns.
•Enhance footage with color grading, transitions, and sound design to meet professional standards.
•Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to develop creative concepts and storyboards.
•Review raw footage and identify the most compelling scenes to highlight the transformation journey.
•Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, and special effects as needed.
•Ensure all content aligns with the company’s branding and vision.
•Manage multiple editing projects and deliver on tight deadlines.

Qualifications and Skills:
•Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
•Strong skills in color grading, audio editing, and motion graphics.
•An exceptional eye for detail, storytelling, and pacing in video content.
•Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and resolution standards for online platforms.
•Ability to interpret creative briefs and work independently to achieve desired results.
•Strong communication skills for collaboration with remote teams.
•A creative and innovative mindset, always seeking new ways to engage audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience in social media management, including an understanding of video trends, audience engagement strategies, and platform algorithms.
•Prior experience editing content in the home renovation or design industry.
•Familiarity with Adobe After Effects or similar tools for advanced motion graphics.
•Experience creating short-form video content optimized for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
•A portfolio showcasing high-end, professional editing work.
