Medical VA (Front Desk & Authorization)

Nautical Staffing is looking for a part-time Front Desk & Authorization VA for our US-based client in the physical therapy industry.

Responsibilities:
- Act as an ambassador of the company
- Maintain a warm, compassionate, and professional attitude towards customers
- Manage inbound calls
- Identify and address customers’ needs and concerns
- Attend to inquiries and provide accurate and complete information
- Handle the following:
• Obtaining authorization
• Point of service collection of copays, co-ins, and deductibles
• Verifying insurance benefits
• Posting payments
• Scheduling of patients
• Membership sales

Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare/medical customer support is required
- Experience in obtaining authorizations and verifying insurance is required
- Must have strong decision-making skills and tech savviness
- Must be organized, resourceful, and adaptable
- Must be okay with the following work schedule:

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 8am - 1:30pm US Eastern Time
Tuesday: 8am - 11:30am US Eastern Time
Thursday: N/A
