I'm looking for a game developer to build a simple AR mobile game for iOS and Android using Unity and AR Foundation (or another cost-effective solution). The goal is to create a minimum viable product (MVP) with basic gameplay mechanics, simple UI, and monetization features.
The game is an AR portal defense game with a tap-based mechanic and a basic object-stacking mini-game. Players will defend a portal from incoming enemies using tap interactions. A Star Wars-inspired theme will be used (without copyrighted content).
Scope of Work (MVP Features Only):
- Basic AR functionality: Players interact with the game in real-world space.
- Tap-based combat: Simple enemy waves appear, and players tap to eliminate them.
- Mini-game (optional): Basic object-stacking mechanic in AR.
- Basic UI & Menus: Start screen, basic settings, and gameplay interface.
- Simple monetization: Ad integration (e.g., Unity Ads) and basic in-app purchases for power-ups.
- Performance optimization: Runs smoothly on modern mobile devices.
Requirements:
- Experience in Unity & AR development (ARKit, ARCore, AR Foundation, Vuforia, etc.)
- Ability to implement basic game mechanics and monetization
- Previous experience with AR mobile games (preferred but not required)
- Understanding of publishing on App Store & Google Play (a plus)
Budget & Timeline:
- Budget: Looking for the most affordable option to build a functional MVP. Open to fixed-price or hourly rates.
- Timeline: Ideally 4-6 weeks for the MVP.
