Bookkeeper – Vacation Rental Accounting Specialist

We are a growing vacation rental management company based in Dubai, currently managing multiple properties. Our operations utilize Hostaway for property management and QuickBooks for financial tracking. We seek an experienced bookkeeper to set up and manage our QuickBooks system, ensuring seamless integration with Hostaway and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
• QuickBooks Setup & Management:
• Accurately categorize transactions for various properties.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial records.
• Generate detailed financial reports, including profit and loss statements.
• Vacation Rental Accounting:
• Manage income from platforms like Airbnb and Upgrade to see actual info.
• Record expenses related to utilities, maintenance, and other operational costs. ?
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and assist in filings.
• Financial Coordination:
• Calculate and process owner payouts, considering management fees and expenses.
• Collaborate with the operations team to track maintenance costs and inventory.
• Assist in budgeting and cash flow forecasting to support business growth.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant in the vacation rental or real estate industry.
• Expertise in QuickBooks Online and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with property management software, especially Hostaway.
• Understanding of platforms like Airbnb and Upgrade to see actual info.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is a plus.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel.
