Description

As a content video editor you need to be a professional that specializes in editing and producing video content for various digital platforms. Transform it into a polished and engaging final product by selecting the best shots, cutting and arranging them in a way that tells a compelling story, and adding sound effects, music, and visual effects. You are also responsible for continuous learning of new editing technologies and industry's best practices to maximize efficiency.

Detailed job duties include but not limited to:

-Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
-Collaborating with other members of the content creation team, such as videographers, writers, and producers, to ensure the final product meets the objectives of the project.
-Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes' value and contribution to continuity
-Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
-Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
-Create rough and final cuts
-Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
-Consult with stakeholders from production to the post-production process
-Trend research for new editing techniques for Youtube, Tiktok and Instagram
