Job Overview:
We are seeking a licensed Architect with strong structural drafting skills to lead the architectural and structural design for both residential and commercial modular building projects. This role will handle floor plans, building elevations, modular framing details, and site layouts, ensuring all designs comply with Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) standards, as well as ADA and local building codes.
The ideal candidate should have experience in modular or prefabricated construction and be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural CAD drafting. This position requires coordination with the MEP Engineer to integrate plumbing, electrical, and fire safety systems into the design.
Availability Requirements:
+ Must be available for immediate part-time hours (leading into) full-time hours soon.
+ Primary communication and work hours will be during early morning daytime hours (7 AM - 1 PM) in the Philippines.
+ Must be completely available for immediate work.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Architectural Design: Develop floor plans, elevations, space layouts, and material specifications for both residential and commercial modular buildings.
+ Structural CAD Drafting: Create modular framing layouts, load-bearing wall details, and connection designs.
UFC Compliance: Ensure all designs meet Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), ADA, and local building codes.
+ Site & Utility Coordination: Assist in developing site plans, grading layouts, and utility connection diagrams.
+ Collaboration: Work closely with the MEP & Fire Safety Engineer to integrate electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire safety elements into the overall design.
+ Revisions & Documentation: Modify designs based on feedback from clients, engineers, and permitting authorities.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
+ Licensed Architect (strongly preferred).
+ 5+ years of experience in architectural design & structural CAD drafting (modular or prefabricated construction experience preferred).
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, or similar drafting software.
+ Experience with steel framing, modular connections, and site planning.
+ Familiarity with UFC codes, ADA compliance, and energy efficiency standards.
+ Ability to coordinate with MEP and fire safety engineers.
