The Role
We offer a fantastic opportunity for an SEO Specialist with a focus on technical SEO, on-page optimisation, backlinking, and content strategy. This role demands expertise in organic search strategies and the ability to deliver measurable results. You will report directly to the Senior Digital Specialist and work closely with our content, development, and paid marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility and traffic for clients.
• Conduct keyword research and identify content gaps and optimisation opportunities.
• Perform technical SEO audits to ensure websites are optimised for search engines (including site speed, mobile-friendliness, and crawlability).
• Optimise on-page elements such as meta tags, headers, images, and internal linking structures.
• Work with content teams to create and optimise SEO-friendly content.
• Build and execute backlink strategies to improve domain authority and search rankings:
• Identify high-quality link-building opportunities through guest posting, outreach, and broken link building.
• Develop relationships with relevant websites and industry influencers for backlink acquisition.
• Monitor and disavow toxic backlinks to maintain a healthy backlink profile.
• Track and report on backlink performance and refine strategies based on analytics.
• Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the SEO landscape.
• Manage local SEO efforts, including Google Business Profiles and citation management.
• Monitor and analyse website performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools.
• Prepare and present SEO performance reports to the Senior Digital Specialist and clients, providing actionable insights.
• Stay updated on SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
• Collaborate with the web development team to implement technical fixes and enhancements.

Key Skills and Experience
• 2+ years’ experience in SEO with a proven track record of delivering results.
• Proficiency in SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, and Google Analytics.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
• Experience with technical SEO, including schema markup, XML sitemaps, and robots.txt.
• Solid understanding of on-page and off-page SEO best practices, with a strong focus on backlink strategies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results on time.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively report to the Senior Digital Specialist and internal teams.
• Experience with PM software and effective time management skills.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, IT, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Certifications in SEO or Google Analytics are a plus.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
