About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Accountant to join our e-commerce business. If you have a strong background in e-commerce accounting, love working with numbers, this role is for you!

DO NOT APPLY IF:

- You are a general virtual assistant with no specialized experience in accounting or finance

- You are a bookkeeper without experience in month-end closings, accrual accounting, or financial reporting

- You have never worked with QuickBooks Online

- You are unfamiliar with core accounting concepts such as:
Accruals
Prepaid expenses
Deferred revenue
Inventory adjustments
Financial period-end adjustments

- You have never prepared management reports used for financial decision-making

- You do not have eCommerce accounting experience, including platforms like Shopify, Amazon, or payment gateways like Stripe/PayPal


YOU SHOULD APPLY IF:

- You are an experienced accountant familiar with eCommerce cash flow cycles, accruals, and inventory accounting

- You’ve handled month-end and year-end closings independently

- You can spot inconsistencies in P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports, and know how to fix them

- You’re comfortable working in QuickBooks Online, reconciling multiple bank/payment gateways

- You’ve prepared financial reports for founders, CFOs, or decision-makers

- You’re proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of building systems that keep books accurate and clean


What You’ll Do:

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will head the financial reporting process for a 7-figure international business. Your work scope will include:

- Review and reconcile financial statements to ensure accuracy

- Perform transaction matching and data entry in QuickBooks

- Ensure compliance with tax and financial regulations

- Prepare quarterly tax filings

- Manage cash flow forecasting and provide financial insights

- Prepare financial reports to assist with management decision-making

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing



What We’re Looking For:

- 2+ years of accounting experience in e-commerce (Shopify, Amazon, or similar platforms)

- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online

- Experience in revenue recognition, COGS tracking, and reconciliation

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines



Details:

This is a Fully Remote Role.

Remuneration: ~70,000-80,000 PHP per month

Commitment: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 6.30pm)
