Finance Operations Manager

We’re searching for a Finance Operations Manager to join us. We're an Edtech startup building software for schools and universities to integrate AI into the classroom. We've growing super fast (we grew revenue 10x in 2024) and now we're looking to grow the team. Currently there are 8 of us, half of us are working on tech and the other half is doing sales and support. All the growth means we need someone who can take a ownership of financial operations ????

You'll be reporting directly to our co-founder, who previously started one of the biggest crypto exchanges in Africa and Europe. You'll be challenged and learn a lot!

Compensation:
* Competitive salary: PHP 77,000 per month
* Quarterly performance bonus: PHP 9,000 per month

Working Hours:
*8:30 AM - 5 PM SAST time (2:30 PM - 11 PM Philippines time), Monday to Friday
* This is a full time role (40 hours per week)

* Payroll, tax filings, and financial reports are submitted accurately and on time.
* We stay proactively compliant with applicable finance regulations.
* Time taken to complete repetitive activities is reduced by effective workflow automation.
* Workflows are cleanly documented and stay up to date in our company wiki.
* TeaUpgrade to see actual infoetings happen on-schedule with clear outcomes recorded and circulated.

What You Bring:
* Finance or Accounting degree
* 2+ years experience in similar role
* Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
* Strong written communication skills for content creation and refinement
* Bonus: Previous experience working in a tech startup
