Full Cycle Accountant

We are seeking a Full Cycle Accountant to join our remote team. This role is critical in managing the financial health of our business by overseeing all accounting functions, from daily transactions to financial reporting and compliance.
As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for supporting the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, budgeting, tax preparation, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of GAAP, advanced Excel skills, and experience with cloud-based accounting software.

Responsibilities

Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger reconciliation.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with accurate reporting on cash flow, liquidity, and financial performance.
Conduct bank reconciliations, expense audits, and tax filings to ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Ensure proper revenue recognition and adherence to GAAP and tax laws.
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial operations, improve efficiencies, and provide insights for business growth.

Qualifications
2-4 years of work experience as an Accountant
Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks Online
Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
Experience with general ledger functions
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
