SENIOR VIDEO SCRIPTWRITER (PART-TIME)

ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Video Scriptwriter who is not afraid to take on new challenges and is ready to grow with our team - Part Time to start, but quickly available for Full-Time.

First and foremost, you'll be helping us create video scripts for the following projects:
- Our Client's video content for business development (High-Quality, Engaging Scripts)
- Our personal videos for our YouTube channel (Conversational, Authentic Scripts)
- Our passion project which is a YouTube Kids Show (Educational, Entertaining Scripts)

This role requires someone who is equally happy working autonomously, crafting compelling scripts AND joining in on team discussions. If you're a collaborative person who loves the sound of brainstorming, throwing around new ideas and is constantly looking for new ways to improve, we want to hear from you! Work will be on a part time basis to start with a very quick transition to full time if they are a great fit.

LET'S TALK SKILLS:
If you're our ideal person, you're:
- Very Experienced in writing scripts for talking head videos, explainer content, and narrative storytelling
- Proficient with AI tools including Claude, ChatGPT, and agent software like Mindpal
- Knowledgeable in SEO, YouTube optimization (both longform and shorts), and omnichannel social media video writing
- Skilled at research gathering, whether through AI or by using AI to effectively interview subject matter experts
- Gifted with excellent communication skills
- Known for your irrationally high attention to detail
- Possessing some kick-ass critical thinking & problem solving skills — especially in making the scriptwriting process more sustainable
- Self-organised, accountable, and work well under pressure
- Adaptable, learning new systems and processes quickly
- Keen to be a part of a team, we're looking for someone who is confident to share their ideas in brainstorming sessions
- Did we mention detail-oriented? To demonstrate that awesome attention to detail of yours, put "I'm your new Video Scriptwriter!" in the subject of your application
- BONUS POINTS for understanding video production workflows and familiarity with standard scriptwriting formats and software

As this is a remote position, fast & reliable internet is a must.
