JOB OVERVIEW

I am looking for a highly skilled, reliable, and professional video editor who can edit my episodes each week, to match the style of Diary of a CEO – both in long-form (YouTube) and short-form (social media reels).
Must be able to create trailers and b-roll similar The Diary of a CEO.

WHAT YOU'LL E EDITING:

• 1x Full-length YouTube video (clean, professional, engaging) (between 1-2hrs interview) .
- The beginning few seconds of the video MUST capture views attention, therefore have suspense HOOKS ,
to make viewer want to continue watching .
- To also include TRAILER .

Examples of trailers are as follows:

• 1x 7-10min video (depending on length ov interview ) - highlights /best parts from the interview - this video to contain suspense hooks. Aim of this video is for people to get a quick overview of the long video and by the way it is edited, make them WANT to go and watch the full-length YouTube video. Must be clean, professional, engaging) (between 1-2hrs interview). When you're editing the full video, you can determine what you can use for the 10min and for the reels.

• 2-3 social media reels (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) - 90 seconds each (one to contain trailer and other 2 to be gold nuggets from interview and b-roll)


WHAT'S REQUIR5ED FOR THE YOUTUBE VIDEO:

• Polished editing – Remove pauses, mistakes, and create seamless flow
• Color grading & lighting adjustments – Ensure I look my best
• Add music - like how The Diary of a CEO does for both long form and short form videos. You must select the appropriate music.
• Audio extraction & enhancement – Clean up the audio for podcast use
• Strong structure:

1. Hook at the beginning

2. TRAILER featuring the guest (must do own research online to find footage to use for video trailer).
THE TRAILER IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS!!

3. Main interview

4. Subscription CTA seamlessly integrated

• Engaging thumbnail design


WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THE SOCIAL MEDIA REELS:

• 2-3 reels per episode

• Each reel should be up to 90 seconds

• ONE of these reels MUST include B-roll, the guest’s trailer, and a strong hook that leaves viewers in suspense

• The other reels will focus on pure gold-nugget Upgrade to see actual infonts from the interview

• Each reel must create suspense – They should end in a way that leaves viewers wanting to watch the full episode

• High-quality captions – Style MUST match Diary of a CEO

• Edits to look professional & to keep view engaged

• Cover images for the reels

NON-NEGOTIABLE PREREQUISITES:

I am ONLY looking for video editors who are:
- Reliable & Punctual – You must deliver on time or ahead of schedule. No excuses.
- Professional & Communicative – I will not chase anyone for completed work.
- Experienced & Detail-Oriented – This is for high-quality production, not beginner-level work.
- Edit the same as with Diary of a CEO Editing Style – You must study and understand their format for both long-form and short-form content.
- Looking for Long-Term Work – I want someone who can execute consistently and grow with my brand.

RATE & ONGOING WORK:

• $100 AUD (NOT USD) per episode (1 long form video & 4-5 short videos edited)

• Immediate work available – I have more jobs to give after initial one, if I like the work

• This will be an ongoing project
