A strong thumbnail is one of the most important factors for increasing click-through rates and video performance. I am looking for a talented, creative thumbnail designer to join my team and help me create scroll-stopping thumbnails that align with my brand and stand out in the YouTube algorithm.

Thumbnails are the first impression of a video. A well-designed thumbnail increases clicks, boosts video performance by improving watch time and engagement, and creates a recognizable brand identity on YouTube.
I am looking for a long-term thumbnail designer who can consistently produce high-quality, eye-catching thumbnails that match my brand aesthetic, target audience, and video themes.
Responsibilities
As my YouTube Thumbnail Designer, you will:
Design 2 to 3 engaging YouTube thumbnails per week that maximize click-through rate.
Create bold, scroll-stopping designs using:
Clear, high-contrast typography that is easy to read at a small size.
Strong emotions and facial expressions to grab attention.
Dynamic, urban, female-skewed visuals that appeal to my target audience.
Strategic use of color, lighting, and contrast to make elements stand out.
Maintain brand consistency while testing new styles to optimize click-through rates.
Incorporate motion, depth, and layering techniques for a more professional, engaging look.
Follow YouTube best practices for thumbnails, including proper dimensions, composition, and clarity.
Research competitors and industry trends to ensure thumbnails remain fresh and competitive.
Deliver completed thumbnails within 48 hours of receiving the request.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience in designing YouTube thumbnails.
A strong portfolio showcasing thumbnail work.
Expertise in Photoshop, Canva, or other design tools.
A deep understanding of YouTube click-through rate strategies and visual psychology.
An eye for design, composition, and branding.
Ability to create thumbnails that match my brand’s clean, modern, and bold aesthetic.
Excellent communication and responsiveness to feedback.
Ability to meet consistent deadlines.
Bonus Skills
Not required, but would make you stand out:
Experience designing thumbnails in the digital marketing, AI, or online business niche.
Understanding of YouTube analytics and how thumbnails impact click-through rates.
Knowledge of A/B testing thumbnails for optimization.
Basic video editing skills for potential repurposing of designs.
Experience with AI-powered design tools.
Compensation
$6 per thumbnail
2 to 3 thumbnails per week
