Content Researcher – Southwest Florida Events

This is for a GIG/Part Time position. I am only offering 4 hours per week, however I will need you to be consistent.

Looking for a detail-oriented and reliable freelancer to gather and compile a comprehensive list of exciting events and activities happening in Southwest Florida. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in research, and have an eye for content that will engage our audience.

Responsibilities:

Research: Identify and compile a list of upcoming events, festivals, activities, and attractions in Southwest Florida (Glades, Lee, Hendry, Collier, Monroe). With your message, please create a sample of upcoming events in the southwest Florida area, for March 22nd? This way I can see if you can grasp what I'm looking for.

Content Creation: Summarize event details, including dates, locations, times, and highlights.
Curate Relevant Content: Focus on a mix of local festivals, concerts, outdoor adventures, family-friendly activities, food and drink events, and more.
Provide Recommendations: Suggest events that would best fit our channel's audience and mission.

Strong research skills with the ability to identify reliable sources for event information.
Excellent communication and writing skills to summarize event details clearly and concisely.
Attention to detail and an ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and proactively.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with YouTube content or social media.
