Here are the duties:
Key Responsibilities
SEO Strategy & Execution
Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, website traffic, and conversions.
Conduct keyword research and implement best practices for on-page, off-page, and video SEO.
Perform competitive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities.
Website & Technical SEO
Optimize website architecture, URL structure, and internal linking for better SEO performance.
Improve site speed, mobile-friendliness, and user experience to enhance rankings.
Identify and fix technical SEO issues, such as indexing problems, schema markup, and site audits.
Content & On-Page SEO
Collaborate with content writers to optimize website copy, blogs, and landing pages with targeted keywords.
Ensure proper metadata, image optimization, header tags, and structured data implementation.
Develop SEO-friendly content strategies to enhance visibility and engagement.
YouTube SEO & Video Optimization
Optimize YouTube video titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails for higher rankings.
Conduct keyword research for YouTube search trends and create content recommendations.
Implement YouTube metadata, closed captions, transcripts, and info cards for engagement.
Monitor YouTube analytics, watch time, and audience retention, and suggest improvements.
Develop strategies for YouTube Shorts, playlists, and content clustering to increase reach.
Link Building & Off-Page SEO
Execute link-building campaigns through guest posting, outreach, and partnerships.
Monitor backlink profiles, disavow toxic links, and implement white-hat link-building techniques.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Track, analyze, and report key SEO & YouTube performance metrics, including traffic, rankings, CTR, engagement, and conversions.
Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, TubeBuddy, VidIQ, and Screaming Frog for data-driven insights.
Provide regular reports and recommendations to improve overall SEO and video marketing performance.
Local & Technical SEO
Optimize Google My Business (GMB) listings and local SEO strategies for geo-targeted rankings.
Ensure compliance with search engine guidelines and algorithm updates.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Google & YouTube SEO trends, tools, and algorithm changes.
2+ years of proven experience in SEO, YouTube SEO, digital marketing, or a related field.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or equivalent experience (preferred).
Technical Skills
Proficiency in SEO tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz, etc.
Experience with YouTube SEO tools like TubeBuddy, VidIQ, and YouTube Analytics.
Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.) and basic HTML/CSS.
Knowledge of schema markup, site architecture, and technical SEO best practices.
Soft Skills & Mindset
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
