Seeking Full-Stack Developer for Next.js SaaS Implementation

We are now Hiring for 20 hours per day to start, moving to full-time as business demands. We expect this to be a very long-term hire! We will hire 1 or 2 people for this position.

Basic tech stack:
Next.js, Typescript, Tailwind, Shadcn UI, Windsurf IDE

Working With Us ~

Working Hours: You will need to have at least one hour per day of availability for collaboration a an agreed upon time during the hours of 9AM to 6PM NY York Time. You may work your other hours any time that is convenient for you.

Time Tracking: You will be expected to track your time and task progress.

Pay: We will pay weekly on Friday in arrears via Paypal, Wise, Payoneer (your choice) in USD. In addition to our agreed upon wages we will pay an additional 10% to cover payment and currency exchange fee.

Equipment: You will need to supply your own computer and internet. After a while working together we may consider helping you purchase a better computer and internet.

Responsibility: You will be exclusively implementing and customizing an existing Next.js "starter kit". The customized version of the starter kit will be used by us with a new SAAS we will be launching. Reference, Upgrade to see actual info

We have been working with associates in the Philippines for many years and have great respect for our overseas partners.

Hiring Process:

Our hiring process is very specific and we will not deviate from it. Our process includes 5 steps containing 4 tests. It is very important to us to respect your time so you will be paid for each successful test completion.

It is possible we will have more than one person in our hiring process and we will choose the best performer.

Step 1) Voice message.

You must respond to this post with a voice message describing yor experience with our tech stack. We need you to be able to communicate well in English in order to be eligible for hire.

In this voicemail you must briefly discuss steps 2 through 5 so we can have confidence that you will be able to complete the steps.

After we evaluate your voicemail we will let you know if your are eligible to continue on to Step 2.

Step 2) Demo Install Test:

The test is to get the starter kit live as per Upgrade to see actual info. This is just for your hiring test purposes. The video describes how to implement the starter kit live on your localhost and expose your localhost to the internet.

To succeed at this test I will need to successfully register and login to your test implementation. When I am able to do so you will be paid for completing this test.

After I successfully login we will do a zoom call where you will give me tour of your test install of the starter kit. I will ask some questions, so be ready to explain the install!

On the call we will let you know if your are eligible to continue on to Step 3. and if so we will pay you for a month of Windsurf IDE.

Step 3) Windsurf IDE Project Setup Test:

To succeed at this test you will setup your Demo Starter Kit project in Windsurf IDE. The tutorial video in Step 2 includes the basic setup of the project in Windsurf. In this step you are to customize the environment with rules, PRDs etc. Also, any extensions you think would be helpful. We will discuss your Windsurf setup on a Zoom call and after the call you will be paid for this test.

On the call we will let you know if your are eligible to continue on to Step 3. and if so we will pay you for a month of Windsurf IDE.

Step 4) Demo Install Enhancement Test:

The starter kit uses convex DB for its functionality. We do not want to change that, however, we do want to be able to manage tables in Supabase from within the starter kit implementation.

So, you will need to create a table in Supabase and set up a page within your demo starter kit where you can perform adds, changes and deletes to the Supabase table.

Also, you will need to research options for moving your demo starter kit setup to a hosting platform.

We will then do a zoom call where you will give a tour of your work and we will discuss it. After we complete this call and I verify your work you will be paid for this test.

If you successfully complete this step we will let you know if your are eligible to continue on to Step 5. If so, we will discuss on this call your suggestions for moving your demo setup to a hosting platform.

Step 5) Hosting Platform & Repository Setup Test:

In this final hiring step you will be setting up the demo starter kit to a production environment on a hosting platform. Also, you will setup a repository for out project in our company GitHub.

You will paid for this test and we will make a final hiring decision.
