JOB OVERVIEW

Job Responsibilities:

Credentialing Management: Oversee and process credentialing applications for PT, OT, and Speech Therapists with various insurance providers.
Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all required documents for credentialing are submitted accurately and on time to meet deadlines.
Follow-up & Resolution: Handle the follow-up process for denied or pending applications and resolve issues related to credentialing.
Insurance Verification: Verify therapist credentials with insurance companies and update any changes as necessary.
Provider Enrollment: Assist with new provider enrollments with payers and ensure proper contract execution.
Coordination with Insurance Companies: Communicate with insurance companies to resolve issues regarding billing and claims related to credentialed providers.
Maintain Accurate Records: Keep up-to-date records of credentialing status, renewal dates, and required documents.

Qualifications:
Proven Experience in credentialing Physical Therapists (PT), Occupational Therapists (OT), and Speech Therapists (2+ years preferred).
Knowledge of Billing Systems: Experience with billing software and electronic health records (EHR). Familiarity with insurance portals and submission processes.
Familiarity with Insurance Providers: Knowledge of major insurance companies and their credentialing processes is a must.
Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately complete credentialing applications and follow up on discrepancies.
Strong Communication Skills: Clear and concise communication with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Strong ability to think critically and resolve issues that arise during the credentialing process.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines effectively.
English Fluency: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred:
Certification in Medical Billing or Credentialing (AAPC, AHIMA, etc.)
Experience working with PT, OT, and Speech Therapy providers.
