Video Editor & Content Research

xCubedMedia is a dynamic digital content studio specializing in creating engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. We work with a diverse range of clients while also producing content for our personal brand. As we continue to grow, we are looking to expand our team by bringing on an experienced Video Editor and content researcher/strategist to help edit short-form and long-form content. Skills Required:
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Excellent understanding of storytelling and pacing for social media platforms
• Knowledge of video formatting, color correction, and audio mixing
• Experience editing short-form (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) and long-form content (YouTube videos, vlogs, interviews, etc.)
• Strong grasp of current social media trends and viral content strategies
• Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently under time constraints
• Excellent English skills (both written and spoken)

Tech Requirements:
• Windows or Mac computer capable of running Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve smoothly
• At least 16GB RAM (32GB preferred for smooth workflow)
• SSD storage for fast file management
• High-speed internet connection for downloading/uploading large video files

Job Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:
• Editing raw footage into polished videos optimized for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
• Content research and scripting
• Ensuring videos align with platform-specific trends and audience preferences
• Collaborating with the creative team to brainstorm and execute content ideas
• Implementing color grading, audio enhancements, and motion graphics as needed
• Managing and organizing video files efficiently

Experience in video editing is required, but training will be provided to help you adapt to our specific style and workflow.
