Overview
Our client is a pioneering technology company specializing in freight logistics optimization software. Their innovative platform matches freight carriers and brokers with loads needing to be shipped. They are seeking an Onboarding Specialist to guide the smooth integration of new clients into their software system. The ideal candidate brings strong customer service abilities, excellent communication skills, and enthusiasm for learning about the freight and logistics industry.
Key Responsibilities
Guide freight carriers and brokers through the complete onboarding process via scheduled calls and follow-ups
Schedule and conduct video calls with prospective companies using the provided
Guide companies through the platform setup process during live video sessions
Create and configure new company profiles in the LoadFusion system during onboarding calls
Validate company documentation and perform verification checks (future responsibility)
Provide clear instructions and support for platform navigation and usage
Document client interactions and maintain accurate onboarding records
Track onboarding progress and provide regular status updates to management
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in customer service or client-facing roles
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a neutral accent
Excellent verbal communication skills with ability to work with diverse accents
Strong ability to build rapport and maintain positive customer interactions
Adaptable communication style - able to go "off-script" when needed
Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple onboarding cases simultaneously
Reliable internet connection and home office setup
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in software implementation or client onboarding
Familiarity with the freight and logistics industry
Experience with compliance documentation
Background in B2B customer support
Knowledge of freight brokerage operations
