Accountant

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage bookkeeping, payroll, and tax compliance for multiple entities, including the company, affiliated businesses, and personal accounts. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to transition to full-time as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities:
*Oversee the full accounting cycle, including invoice creation, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
*Manage payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
*Ensure compliance with state tax regulations and manage timely tax filings.
*Maintain accurate records using QuickBooks and Avalara.
*Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to address accounting and financial needs.
*Provide support and insights to improve financial efficiency and reduce overbilling or overcharging.

Requirements:
*Proven experience in comprehensive accounting and financial management.
*Expertise in payroll accounting processes.
*Proficiency with QuickBooks and Avalara is essential.
*Strong knowledge of state tax filing procedures.
*Knowledge with Shopify, WooCommerce, and Square platforms is a plus
*High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
