YouTube Scriptwriter / Copywriter

Job Title: YouTube Scriptwriter (Personal Finance)
Salary: $1,000 - $1,500 USD/month, depending on skills and experience
Hours: 40 hours per week (full-time)
Vacation: 10 paid vacation days per year + local holidays
Location: 100% remote

We’re hiring an experienced YouTube scriptwriter to work for a growing YouTube channel in the personal finance niche.

The person we hire will meet these criteria:
- C2 English (no exceptions)
- 3+ years of writing experience (scriptwriting experience preferred)
- Strong research skills
- Moderate knowledge of personal finance (you can learn this on the job)

These are some of the tasks you'll spend your time on:
- Perform quick research to find existing content on the topic you’re writing about
- Use AI & our internal templates to turn your research into a draft script
- Polish that AI-written draft into a final version that can be read verbatim on camera
- Use your knowledge of hooks, open loops, and other psychology to make the script super engaging

Here are a few traits we’re looking for in the person we hire:

- Fast Learner: If you don’t like learning new skills, this isn’t the role for you. One day you’ll be writing about credit cards, and the next you’ll be diving about investing. We need you to handle all of this like a pro.
- Reliable: You’re expected to perform day in and day out, so we expect you to bring your A-game every single day.
- Experienced: You need to have 3+ years of writing experience. We’re looking for a pro who can hit the ground running.

Here’s what you can expect from the role:
- Evenings & Weekends Off: We expect your best performance during the hours you’re working, so we want you to fully disconnect and recharge when you’re not. This is not a 24/7 role.
- Training & Growth: We’ll push you and give you plenty of feedback to help you grow and further develop your skills..
