Short-Form Video Editor

Short form e-commerce content creator looking to recruit a rockstar virtual assistant to edit videos. Plenty of room for advancement and long term employment if you’re competent, hard working, disciplined, and efficient.

Looking for people who have the discipline to edit simple-style short form content for 4 hours a day. This comes out to about 60 videos edited per day, each video cut down roughly from 60 seconds of raw footage to 25-30 seconds of edited footage. Since the videos are simple, it only takes about 3-5 min to edit each video. Standard operating procedure will be provided.

Pay: $3/hour for 4 hours/day Monday - Friday

Skills required:
- Excellent English is a MUST (both written and spoken)
- 6 months+ of previous experience with editing videos
- Discipline to repeat monotonous tasks
- Attention to detail

Technical requirements:
- Laptop/Computer with 64 bit processor (windows or mac)
- Fast and reliable internet connection

Expect a long term role with plenty of room for growth. Approx 2-4 hours per day to start for the first week or so while you are learning the standard operating procedure, increasing to 4 hours once training is over. In 1-2 months after you fully demonstrate competency, you will be moved from the $3/hour for 4 hours/day rate to the equivalent $12/day salary. This is for your benefit, so that you will not be punished for being able to edit the daily quota in less than 4 hours. For example, if you are able to maintain quality edits and finish the daily quota in 2 hours, you will still be paid $12/day therefore freeing up your time. If later on your quality suffers, you will be moved back to the hourly rate.

Should you be accepted to move forward to the next round, I will send a couple example raw videos for you to edit along with some instructions. You will have 24 hours to complete the task once sent. Its a fairly simple task, should take you no more than 20 minutes. Those who demonstrate sufficient editing skills with that task will be able to schedule a quick video interview.
