Financial & Accounting Analyst - Part Time

Job Overview:
Revida Water is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst with a strong background in accounting, financial modeling, and investment analysis to support our financial operations and upcoming fundraising efforts. This part-time role requires a CPA, CA, or MBA-level finance professional with expertise in transaction reconciliation, financial reporting, and forecasting.

The ideal candidate will help reconcile financial records for 2024 and 2025, ensure accurate QuickBooks Online data, and develop financial models, revenue projections, cash flow forecasts, and funding strategies to support Revida’s growth.

Key Responsibilities:
???? Financial Reconciliation & Bookkeeping:

Reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor transactions for 2024 and 2025.
Ensure accurate and audit-ready QuickBooks Online records.
Categorize expenses and track financial performance.
???? Financial Planning & Modeling:

Build and refine financial models for revenue, cost projections, and cash flow forecasting.
Develop cash needs assessments to support funding strategies.
Provide financial insights to optimize operational and capital efficiency.
???? Fundraising & Strategic Finance Support:

Assist in preparing investor-ready financial statements and fundraising materials.
Conduct financial analysis to support valuation and investment discussions.
Work closely with leadership on financial strategy and funding plans.
Qualifications & Skills:
? CPA, CA, CFA, or MBA in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
? 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or investment banking.
? Strong QuickBooks Online proficiency.
? Expert in financial modeling, revenue forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
? Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
? Experience in startup finance, venture capital, or private equity preferred.
? Ability to work independently and collaborate with leadership remotely.

Work Details & Compensation:
???? Part-time role (gig at first and for the right candidate it will be part time there after).
???? Must be available during California (PST) business hours.
???? Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
