Technical SEO Specialist

WSI Leap Digital is a leading digital marketing agency specializing in SEO, website optimization, and digital strategy. We are looking for a Technical SEO Specialist to join our team and help improve the technical foundation of our clients’ websites to enhance search visibility and user experience.

This role will focus on site health, performance optimization, structured data, and indexing—ensuring websites are fully optimized for search engines.

Key Responsibilities:
? Technical Audits & Website Optimization

Conduct SEO audits using tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Screaming Frog.
Identify and resolve technical issues (indexing, crawling errors, duplicate content, site speed, mobile usability).
Implement structured data (Schema Markup) to enhance search visibility.
Optimize robots.txt, XML sitemaps, hreflang, and canonical tags for proper indexing.
? Website Performance & Core Web Vitals

Improve site speed using Google Lighthouse, GTMetrix, and PageSpeed Insights.
Optimize website loading times through image compression, lazy loading, and code minification.
Work with developers to implement best practices for fast, accessible websites.
? On-Page & Technical Enhancements

Ensure proper implementation of meta tags, headings, and internal linking structures.
Optimize for JavaScript SEO, ensuring key content is rendered and indexed properly.
Conduct log file analysis to understand bot behavior and crawling efficiency.
? SEO Strategy & Collaboration

Work closely with content teams to ensure pages are structured for search intent and visibility.
Support migration projects, ensuring minimal SEO impact when launching new sites or redesigns.
Stay updated on Google algorithm changes and technical SEO best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
???? Must-Have:
? 3+ years of experience in Technical SEO with a proven track record.
? Deep understanding of crawling, indexing, and ranking factors.
? Strong proficiency in Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
? Experience with Schema Markup (JSON-LD) and technical implementations.
? Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from an SEO perspective.
? Ability to optimize Core Web Vitals and PageSpeed performance.
? Familiarity with log file analysis and advanced crawling techniques.

? Experience with server-side SEO (NGINX, Apache, .htaccess configurations).
? Familiarity with Headless CMS, React, or JavaScript frameworks.
? Knowledge of Google Tag Manager and advanced tracking setups.
? Basic understanding of Python or SQL for SEO data analysis.
