Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and creative YouTube Channel Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our YouTube channel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strategies, creating engaging content, optimizing performance, and growing the channel’s subscriber base and viewership. This role requires a deep understanding of YouTube's platform, trends, and best practices to maximize channel growth and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a content strategy to grow and maintain the YouTube channel.
Plan, schedule, and manage video uploads, ensuring consistency and alignment with the brand’s goals.
Collaborate with content creators, editors, and graphic designers to produce high-quality videos.
Optimize video titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails for better reach and engagement.
Monitor and analyze channel performance metrics and trends, adjusting strategies as needed.
Engage with the audience through comments, community posts, and live interactions to build a loyal subscriber base.
Stay updated on YouTube algorithm changes, policies, and new features.
Coordinate with marketing and social media teams to promote YouTube content across other channels.
Identify opportunities for collaborations, partnerships, and promotional activities to expand channel visibility.
Create reports and presentations on channel performance for stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Proven experience managing a successful YouTube channel (please provide examples or a portfolio).
Strong understanding of YouTube's algorithm, SEO, and video analytics tools (e.g., YouTube Studio, Google Analytics).
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) is a plus.
Creative mindset with the ability to conceptualize and execute engaging content ideas.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Experience in audience engagement and community management.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop).
Familiarity with other video platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels).
