JOB OVERVIEW

Our client, a leading textile manufacturing company, is seeking a Stock Analyst to ensure inventory accuracy across external 3PL warehouses and internal ERP systems. This role involves managing stock movement, analyzing inventory performance, and generating reports to support supply chain operations. If you have a strong analytical mindset, expertise in inventory control, and experience with Sage ERP, Power BI, and SQL, this is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
Stock Accuracy & Inventory Control – Maintain inventory accuracy across all 3PL sites and Sage ERP, producing reports and investigating discrepancies.
Stock Movement Management – Oversee the transfer, delivery, and receipt of stock between suppliers, 3PLs, and customers, ensuring correct processing in X3 ERP.
Discrepancy Investigation – Continually monitor and resolve stock variances between 3PL warehouses and Sage ERP, including shortages and discrepancies.
Physical Inventory Checks – Conduct weekly and monthly PI (physical inventory) checks with 3PL partners, investigating and correcting any stock differences.
Data Analysis & Reporting – Update forecast reports, analyze stock availability and performance, and provide insights for range reviews.
Logistics & Customer Portal Management – Manage delivery bookings, prepare export documentation, and ensure 3PL systems are updated for smooth receipt of goods.
Returns & Quarantine Stock Management – Process returns across all 3PL sites, determining actions for resale, quarantine, or faulty stock, and reviewing quarantine stock levels monthly.
Aged & Discontinued Stock Reports – Generate reports for aged, discontinued, and clearance stock to support sales and commercial analysis.
Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with Sales, Customer Support, Operations, Logistics, and External Stakeholders to ensure stock accuracy and supply chain efficiency.
UK & Estonia Coverage – Provide support during holidays, shutdowns, and peak periods, ensuring smooth stock operations.

What We’re Looking For:
Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset for detailed stock reporting.
Deep understanding of inventory control and physical inventory (PI) checks.
Excellent data entry and reporting skills, with experience using SQL and Power BI.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.
Strong knowledge of logistics, warehousing processes, and Sage ERP.
Experience using customer portals for managing stock movements.
Excellent communication and organizational skills for internal and external coordination.
Ability to travel to Trafford Park as required.
