SEO & Marketing Specialist (with Coding & Design Skills)

We are a growing removalist and transport company in Australia, managing multiple brands, including 1st Move Removalist and Interstate Furniture Removalist. We are expanding our online presence and need an SEO expert to drive more traffic, leads, and rankings on Google and Bing.

Job Responsibilities
? On-Page SEO:

Optimize website structure, meta tags, headers, URLs, and internal linking.
Improve page speed, mobile responsiveness, and Core Web Vitals.
Write SEO-friendly content, including service pages and blog posts.
? Off-Page SEO:

Build high-quality backlinks (guest posts, citations, niche edits, HARO, etc.).
Manage and optimize Google Business Profile (GBP).
Conduct competitor analysis and link-building outreach.
? Technical SEO:

Conduct website audits (fix crawl errors, indexing issues, schema markup, etc.).
Implement structured data and Upgrade to see actual info best practices.
Improve site architecture, XML sitemaps, and robots.txt.
? Local SEO (Bonus):

Optimize for local rankings in Australian cities.
Monitor and manage reviews, citations, and NAP consistency.
Required Skills & Experience
???? Proven experience in SEO & digital marketing (portfolio required).
???? Strong knowledge of Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz.
???? Familiarity with WordPress, React, and website optimization tools.
???? Ability to track SEO performance using Google Analytics & Tag Manager.
???? Strong English writing & communication skills.

Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required)
? Experience in Google Ads & PPC campaigns.
? Knowledge of AI-driven SEO strategies & AEO (Answer Engine Optimization).
? Understanding of website development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
