Job Description:
Bytagig is seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Project Technician. In this role, you’ll assist with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network equipment for various projects. We’re looking for someone with strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a team-oriented mindset.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in Installation and Configuration: Help in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network equipment for projects.
- Client IT Project Support: Provide support for client IT projects, including system deployments, upgrades, and migrations.
- Basic Troubleshooting: Perform basic troubleshooting for IT systems and services to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- User Setup Assistance: Assist with user setup, including creating accounts, configuring devices, and ensuring appropriate access levels.
- Documentation and Procedures: Follow documentation and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in project tasks.
- Task Coordination: Coordinate with senior technicians and project managers to ensure all tasks are completed on time.
- Issue Reporting: Report any issues or challenges encountered during project work to senior tea
- Client Communication: Assist with client communications, gathering requirements, and providing basic training as needed.
- Documentation of Work: Document all work performed, ensuring that all systems are properly labeled and inventory is updated.
- Project Reviews Participation: Participate in project reviews and contribute suggestions for improvements in processes or systems.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in IT support or a related field.
- Strong technical acumen and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to explain technical concepts to non- technical users.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and a customer service orientation.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role. Working Hours and Timekeeping:
- Scheduled to work during USA - Pacific (PST) time zones, 8am-5pm.
- Keep track of time via Timeproof.
