Who We Are
Freedom Travel Systems helps entrepreneurs maximize their credit card points and travel in first and business class for a fraction of the cost. We specialize in creating bucket-list travel experiences, providing expert strategies on points, hotel stays, and flight bookings. Our team of travel and points enthusiasts has collectively visited 100+ countries and saved our clients over $10M in travel costs.

Now, we’re growing our YouTube presence and need a talented Thumbnail Designer to help us stand out and drive engagement.

We want the brand to look elegant, clean, fun, and sophisticated. I do not like thumbnails that have crazy expressions all over them. Simpler thumbnails that are clean and draw the eye to the right thing are best.

Position Details:
Compensation: $25-40 per thumbnail
Workload: 2-4 videos per week

Location: Flexible, but must be available to work and respond in U.S. time zones
Turnaround: Fast turnaround required

What You’ll Do
Design high-impact, click-worthy YouTube thumbnails that align with our brand and content strategy.
Stay on top of YouTube trends and best practices to optimize for engagement.
Work with the team to quickly iterate and improve thumbnails based on performance.

Who You Are
Experienced YouTube thumbnail designer with a strong portfolio and proof
Skilled in Photoshop, Canva, or similar tools.
Creative, detail-oriented, and able to deliver under tight deadlines.
Understands how to design for click-through rates and audience engagement.

Test Project
To assess fit, applicants will complete a test project:
Create 2-4 variations of a thumbnail for the video titled:
“Amex Business Gold vs. Amex Business Platinum”
Link to the video is here if you want to watch it

The thumbnail should NOT simply repeat the title—instead, it should evoke curiosity and intrigue to make viewers eager to click.
The goal is to make someone want to hear my take on the comparison, rather than just confirming what the video is about.
If you’re passionate about YouTube, design, and travel, we’d love to have you on board!
