Job Post: Book Designer & Self-Publishing Assistant

I am looking for a skilled designer and publishing assistant to help me turn my written posts into a beautifully designed book in the style of Marcus Aurelius’ Meditations. Each page will feature an individual piece of wisdom, unrelated to the others, compiled into a clean, visually appealing format.

What You’ll Do:
• Organize and format my existing written posts into a cohesive Meditations-style book, where each page stands alone as its own thought.
• Design the book using Canva to ensure it is visually stunning, easy to read, and professionally formatted.
• Advise on the best way to turn this into a physical book and handle the process of getting it printed and published.
• Ensure the final product is polished, well-structured, and high quality for both digital and print distribution.

Requirements:
• Experience designing books, preferably with Canva or similar tools.
• Understanding of layout, typography, and aesthetic book formatting.
• Familiarity with self-publishing platforms like Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, or other print-on-demand services is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, find the best printing solutions, and deliver a completed book ready for sale or distribution.
