Technical Project Manager with dev skills

Octomedia is an award-winning B2B media platform with a portfolio covering retail, FMCG, small business, franchising and e-commerce.

In 2014, the business was seven people, one publication and one office. Today, we operate in six countries, have over 10 publications and over 45 colleagues.

Responsibilities:
- Utilise Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) to manage projects effectively.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to clarify requirements and define project scope.
- Assign tasks to developers based on their skills and experience.
- Monitor project progress and identify and mitigate risks.
- Ensure code quality through code reviews and adherence to best practices.
- Manage Git repositories and enforce branching strategies.
- Contribute to development tasks as needed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a project manager (with web development background).
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Deep understanding of Git and version control.
- Solid technical knowledge of: Vue.js (or React), WordPress theme/plugin development, Node.js
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Clickup, Jira).
