Virtual Assistant – BigCommerce Product Updates (Remote)
Position: Independent Contractor
Retainer: $500-$700 per month
Location: Remote
Work Schedule: Task-based, flexible hours
Silver Sky Imports specializes in cultural musical instruments and meditation products. As a small, family-oriented business, we value quality, attention to detail, and a supportive work environment. We are looking for a reliable virtual assistant to help update and maintain our BigCommerce product listings.

Responsibilities
Update and maintain product listings in BigCommerce, including titles, descriptions, photos, sound files, and custom fields
Perform bulk data imports/exports using CSV files via Google Sheets or Excel
Audit existing product listings for errors and inconsistencies, making corrections as needed
Report any missing details, errors, or inconsistencies found in product listings
Organize tasks efficiently, working through each product category systematically
Communicate regularly via email and manage tasks using GQueues

Requirements
Prior experience with BigCommerce preferred
Strong attention to detail for reviewing and correcting product listings
Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel for data management
Ability to import/export CSV files without data loss or formatting issues
Proficient written and spoken English communication skills
Ability to work independently, following structured tasks with minimal supervision
Must be organized, proactive, and reliable

Work Expectations
Daily check-ins during the initial phase to address questions, shifting to weekly updates once familiar with the workflow
Report directly to the office admin and owner
No fixed working hours—tasks must be completed within a reasonable timeframe
This position does not include customer service, social media, or other administrative tasks
