POSITION SUMMARY
We’re looking for a Marketing Specialist who has a passion for storytelling, a knack for strategy, and hands-on expertise in social media marketing. In this role, you’ll help shape the Oodahost brand, engage our online audience, and implement data-driven campaigns to attract property owners, guests, and strategic partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT Plan, create, and publish engaging content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Develop weekly and monthly content calendars aligned with company objectives. Monitor social trends and track performance metrics, including engagement rates and follower growth.

CONTENT AND CAMPAIGN DEVELOPMENT
Write compelling copy for social posts, email campaigns, and marketing collateral. Collaborate with design or creative teams to produce visual content, videos, and ads. Launch and optimize paid social campaigns using data-driven insights.

BRAND AND COMMUNITY BUILDING
Maintain a consistent brand voice and style throughout all marketing channels. Engage with our community by responding to comments, interacting with followers, and nurturing leads. Identify and foster partnerships or influencer collaborations that expand our reach.

MARKET RESEARCH AND ANALYTICS
Conduct competitor analyses and identify emerging trends in property management and hospitality. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) across social media and digital campaigns. Present monthly reports to leadership with insights, recommendations, and campaign results.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION
Work closely with the Operations, Sales, and Guest Success teams to create integrated marketing strategies. Align campaigns with ongoing promotions, new property launches, and special events.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience). At least 2 years of digital marketing experience, preferably in a startup or tech-driven environment. Proven expertise in social media management with a track record of growing and managing platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Strong copywriting skills and the ability to craft attention-grabbing content that resonates with target audiences. An analytical mindset, comfortable with tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, and social media schedulers. Creative and adaptive, with the ability to pivot quickly based on market changes and stay updated on industry trends. Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English, both written and verbal, with a knack for building relationships across teams. (Bonus points for experience in hospitality, short-term rentals, or property management.)
