Senior Back-End Laravel Developer - NO AGENCIES APPLICATIONS

Looking for an experienced Senior Back-end Laravel Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for building robust, scalable APIs and backend systems for our applications. This role requires a strong understanding of Laravel, database management, and efficient code practices.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Laravel.
- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
- Work with front-end and other teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Ensure data security and best practices in code quality.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing codebase.
- Document code and maintain thorough records of development processes.
- WILLING TO WORK ON PST/EST office hours

Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Back-end Developer, with a focus on Laravel.
- Strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, and RESTful API development.
- Familiarity with caching, queues, and job scheduling in Laravel.
- Uses AI tools like cursor or any other IDE e.g. github copilot
- Solid understanding of database design and management.
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good English communication skills.
