One of Australia's premium BPO's is looking for an experienced Technical Document Writer- to place with one of the United States leading renewable energy companies. Be a part of an exciting multinational company, that's leading positive change in the world, through sustainable and renewable energy.
This work-from-home (WFH) role is full-time, 40 hours per week, US business hours (PST).

Key Responsibilities
- Developing, writing and maintaining key documents for renewable energy products. Documents include user manuals, system documentation and training materials and FAQs.
- Working with subject matter experts (SME's), engineers and product developers, to understand processes and to document technical procedures.
- Reviewing all existing documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness and adherence to company standards.
- Managing documentation repositories and version control to ensure all documents are up-to-date and accessible.
- Collecting and analyzing user feedback to improve usability and effectiveness of documentation for products.
Requirements
- At least 2 years proven experience as a Technical Writer, ideally in energy or engineering sectors.
(You will need to provide samples of your writing work).
- Extensive experience working with SME's such as electrical engineers.
- Basic understanding of electrical engineering and renewable energy products, including Battery Energy Storage Solutions (BESS).
- Strong writing skills and the ability to translate complex information into simple, clear and user-friendly documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication (English).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat and Confluence.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and version control systems (Git).
Ideally
- Experience working with international companies in AUS or US.
- Background/Degree in Electrical Engineering.
