Job Title: Video Editor and Graphic Designer
Location: Remote
JOB SUMMARY:
The Video Editor and Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually compelling and high-quality multimedia content that aligns with the company’s branding and marketing objectives. This role involves editing raw video footage, developing animations, designing brand assets, and producing various marketing materials across digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of video editing techniques, graphic design principles, and the ability to work with various media formats to deliver consistent, on-brand visuals.
Key Responsibilities: VIDEO EDITING & PRODUCTION:
> Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging content, including selecting and cutting B-roll, and implementing transitions, effects, and audio elements.
> Perform color grading to ensure visual consistency and alignment with brand aesthetics.
> Synchronize audio and video, add captions, and ensure all video content is optimized for
multiple platforms (social media, web, presentations).
> Manage the entire post-production process, from initial editing to final delivery, ensuring
deadlines are met.
Animation and Motion Graphics:
> Create custom animations and motion graphics to enhance video content, presentations, and marketing materials.
> Develop animated sequences that explain complex concepts in a visually engaging manner.
> Utilize software like Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar to produce high-quality motion graphics.
Graphic Design:
> Design brand assets including logos, icons, templates, and other visual elements that align with the company’s branding guidelines.
> Create visually compelling Canva marketing materials and social media graphics that are on-brand and optimized for various platforms.
> Develop PowerPoint templates and presentations that are visually appealing, clear, and effective in conveying the intended message.
Brand Asset Development:
> Develop and maintain a library of brand assets, ensuring all materials are consistent with the company's visual identity.
> Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to produce brand-consistent graphics for campaigns, events, and digital content.
Digital and Print Material Design:
> Design both digital and print materials such as brochures, flyers, banners, and advertisements that adhere to brand standards.
> Ensure all design work is optimized for both digital and print mediums, considering factors like color profiles, resolution, and layout.
Competencies: TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY:
> Expert in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
> Proficient in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
> Skilled in motion graphics and animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
> Experience with Canva, PowerPoint, and other design platforms.

> Strong ability to conceptualize and execute creative ideas that align with brand objectives.
> Keen eye for detail, color, typography, and composition.
> Ability to translate complex ideas into simple, engaging visuals.

requirements.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
> Continuously update skills and stay informed on industry trends in video editing and graphic design.
> Participate in creative brainstorming sessions to develop new ideas for content and marketing materials.
> Provide guidance and mentorship to junior tea
> The role may evolve to meet the overall objectives of the company.
QUALIFICATIONS
> Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
> 3+ years of experience in video editing and graphic design, preferably in a marketing or
media production environment.
> Strong portfolio showcasing a range of video editing, motion graphics, and design
projects.
> Understanding of branding and marketing principles, with experience in creating
materials that drive engagement and conversion.
> Knowledge of digital marketing best practices and how design impacts user experience
(UX) and engagement.
This position is ideal for a creative professional who excels in both video production and graphic design, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, brand-aligned content across multiple platforms.

PAY:
$1,000 AUD per month for 6 day weekly
