Purpose of the position: To provide a direct and personal business relationship between the customers and the Company.
Manage assigned sales territory to develop and grow volume with the intent of achieving/exceeding revenue and margin targets.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop existing accounts for maximum penetration.
2. Achievement of sales forecast for target pump, valves, heat exchangers, parts, services
3. Interpretation of customer specifications and submission of 'clean orders'.
4. Present technical seminars, provide information and aggressively pursue meeting customer requirements.
5. Create 'trust' with the customer and follow through on all commitments. Make things happen to satisfy customers.
6. Provide competitive product, commercial and market feedback to the Company.
7. Develop relationships at all key accounts.
8. Prepare accurate departmental budget and ensure that targets and goals set according to company policies and standards are achieved at year-end.
9. Assist to develop departmental sales and marketing and prepare specific and time-bound action plans to ensure that expected sales target are met.
10. Develop new ways and means to improve departmental procedures and systems for enhanced productivity, efficiency and profitability.
11. Prepare and conduct company, product sales & marketing presentations for key accounts and suppliers.
12. Provide direction and monitor Sales Admin in performance of his/her functions in providing support for the departmental operations such as submission of samples, price quotations, and sales and purchase orders processing, shipment and delivery of goods.
13. Responsible for on-time collection of all receivables and achievement of Days Outstanding targets.
14. Prepare and submit accurate and on-time Monthly Performance & Management reports.
15. Manage and improve client relations to achieve 100% customer satisfaction to ensure account retention through effective communication and sales visit.
16. Responsible for preparation of draft, review and to finalize contracts and agreements with clients, sales consultants and supplier.
17. Prepare statistics, monitor market trends and analyze competitors’ activities such activities as pricing actions and promotional activities and other developments within the industry and come up with creative solutions to assist Management in its decision-making with regards to operational requirements of the Department.
18. Prepare market studies for ensuring continuous development of business.
19. Develop new business opportunities to improve profitability and ensure Company’s continuous growth and success.
20. Active participation in industry-related organizational activities and functions to keep abreast of industry developments to help in data gathering for market information.
21. Responsible for ensuring that any obtained information throughout the employment is held in absolute confidence.
22. Perform other duties that may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent technical degree preferred
2. Must know how to communicate in English
3. Must have experience handling industrial clients in food & beverage, health and nutrition
4. Must know and willing to drive a car and have a valid driver's license (company car will be provided
5. Knowledgeable in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (Flexitime 9 hours a day on a compressed work week)
Benefits: Commission 3% to 4% on Gross Operating Revenue
