We are a conglomerate made up of 5-10 businesses with the same owners. The businesses are run on two primary accounting platforms: Appfolio & Quickbooks which consists of real estate, banking, and retail.
Seeking an experienced professional who has experience in both accounting platforms with an extensive knowledge in real estate and U.S. businesses accounting practices.
Full-Time Commitment:
We require candidates who are fully dedicated to this role and do not have other concurrent employment.
Key Requirements:
-Proven Accounting Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in accounting roles.
-QuickBooks Expertise: In-depth knowledge of QuickBooks, with the ability to navigate the platform efficiently, troubleshoot issues, and suggest process improvements.
-AppFolio Proficiency: Familiarity with AppFolio is a plus.
-U.S. Accounting Practices: Solid understanding of real estate accounting and U.S. business practices.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Perform monthly reconciliations for multiple business entities.
-Collaborate closely with owners and key managers to ensure financial accuracy and process improvements.
-Prepare accurate, timely monthly reports and financial statements.
-Oversee payroll processing with a high level of accuracy.
-Identify and implement improvements to optimize accounting processes.
