The 360-Degree Medical Staffing Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for healthcare professionals, including sourcing, recruiting, credentialing, onboarding, and placement. This role involves developing strong relationships with both candidates and clients, ensuring optimal placement outcomes while meeting organizational goals and timelines. The specialist will work across multiple healthcare disciplines such as nursing, allied health, and physicians to fulfill short-term, long-term, and permanent staffing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Candidate Sourcing & Recruitment:
• Proactively source and recruit qualified healthcare professionals through job boards, social media, internal databases, referrals, and networking.
• Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess qualifications, skills, experience, and cultural fit.
• Manage job postings and recruitment marketing strategies to attract top talent.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of healthcare candidates.
2. Full-Cycle Recruitment:
• Manage all aspects of the recruitment life cycle from initial contact through offer negotiation, acceptance, and onboarding.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their staffing needs and deliver customized solutions.
• Coordinate interviews and provide feedback to both candidates and clients.
• Negotiate pay packages, contract terms, and benefits with candidates and ensure client satisfaction.
3. Credentialing & Compliance:
• Ensure candidates meet all necessary credentialing, licensure, and background requirements.
• Collaborate with compliance teams to manage pre-employment documentation and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
4. Onboarding & Retention:
• Guide candidates through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition to new assignments.
• Serve as the main point of contact for candidates during their assignment, addressing any concerns or issues.
• Monitor candidate performance and satisfaction to encourage contract extensions or redeployment.
5. Client & Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare clients to ensure ongoing staffing support and business growth.
• Provide excellent customer service to both clients and candidates, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to assess staffing satisfaction and anticipate future needs.
6. Market Research & Reporting:
• Stay informed on healthcare industry trends, market rates, and competitive practices.
• Provide regular reports on recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, candidate quality, and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
•Human Resources, Healthcare Management, or a related field (preferred)
• Recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare staffing or a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare credentialing and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
