Mission of the role:
This role supports the Amazon Lead in driving Amazon marketplace sales growth by managing and optimizing Amazon PPC advertising strategies. The focus is on maximizing ad performance, increasing product visibility, and improving return on ad spend (ROAS) through data-driven decision-making. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to align advertising strategies with broader sales objectives, ensuring continuous growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, manage, and optimize Amazon PPC campaigns (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display) to maximize traffic, sales, and profitability.
- Develop and execute paid advertising strategies to optimize spend, increase conversions, and improve overall return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Conduct in-depth keyword research, bid adjustments, and audience targeting to refine campaign performance.
- Continuously monitor and analyze key performance metrics (ACoS, ROAS, CTR, conversion rates), making data-driven optimizations and strategic budget adjustments.
- Identify opportunities for scaling campaigns while maintaining efficiency and profitability.
- Generate performance reports with insights, trends, and action plans to optimize advertising effectiveness.
- Utilize PPC management tools (e.g., Scale Insights, Datadive) to enhance automation tracking, and campaign efficiency.
- Occasionally assist with related marketing initiatives or projects that contribute to overall e-commerce growth.
Key Skills / Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Amazon PPC, managing Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display campaigns.
- Strong expertise in keyword research, bid management, and audience targeting to optimize campaign performance and improve ROAS.
- Proficiency in Amazon Seller Central and PPC tools like Helium 10, DataDive, Scale Insights, or similar.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills, able to track key metrics (ACoS, ROAS, CTR) and troubleshoot underperforming campaigns.
- Experience in eCommerce or digital marketing, preferably with a deep understanding of Amazon’s ad ecosystem.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and budgets independently while maintaining efficiency.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills, with a detail-oriented and proactive approach to optimizing and scaling campaigns.
This is a 100% remote role where the potential hire must be equipped with the following to carry out this role effectively:
