Quality Assurance Tester for Mobile Apps

We are a software development agency seeking a skilled Manual QA Tester to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will possess real Android and iOS devices and have hands-on experience testing on both platforms.

Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough manual testing of mobile applications on Android and iOS devices

Design and execute comprehensive test cases for various mobile scenarios

Identify, document, and report bugs and issues

Perform regression testing to ensure software updates don't introduce new defects

Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements

Provide detailed feedback on user experience and app performance

Participate in the entire software development lifecycle

Conduct cross-device and cross-platform testing

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Manual QA Tester, with a focus on mobile applications

Ownership of at least one real Android device and one real iOS device

Strong understanding of mobile app testing methodologies

Familiarity with both Android and iOS operating systems and their unique features

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

Strong communication abilities to effectively report issues and collaborate with team members

Experience with bug tracking tools

Basic understanding of mobile app development processes

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with automated testing tools for mobile applications

Knowledge of mobile app performance testing

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
