Proofreader & Quality Control Specialist – Design House

We’re a collaborative, faith-centered boutique Design House passionate about creating beautiful, meaningful, and accurate journals, planners, and devotionals for our clients.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a detail-oriented Proofreader & Quality Control Specialist to ensure 100?curacy in our planners, journals, and devotionals before finalizing. This will include checking all dates and holidays in monthly, weekly, and daily planner spreads align with the corresponding year, cross checking scripture and quote references, and ensuring accuracy in products before we send to our clients. If you have an exceptional eye for detail, a methodical approach to reviewing documents, and a passion for ensuring error-free, high-quality work, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:
• Proofread and verify all content within planners, journals, and other print products, ensuring accuracy in dates, US holidays, scripture references, and formatting.
• Cross-check client revisions and ensure all requested edits have been properly implemented.
• Compare documents side-by-side to catch any missing details before files are finalized.
• Provide structured feedback to the Design & Data Entry Teams for any inconsistencies or errors.
• Occassionaly check for consistency in typography, spacing, and layout across all pages.
• Maintain an organized checklist system for quality control.

Requirements:
• Strong attention to detail—you should be able to spot even the smallest inconsistencies.
• Experience in proofreading, copyediting, or quality control.
• Comfortable working with structured documents (planners, books, formatted PDFs, or InDesign files).
• Familiarity with Google Docs, Adobe Acrobat (or PDF reviewing tools), and checklists for quality control.
• Ability to work independently and track multiple projects at once.
• A growth mindset and openness to refining processes for efficiency.
