Flight Performance is a digital marketing agency in need of a Shopify Website Designer/Developer with experience in theme customization, Liquid coding, UX/UI design, and performance optimization. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Shopify stores for DTC/eCommerce brands while ensuring high performance and seamless user experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of experience designing and developing Shopify websites.
Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.
Experience customizing Shopify themes and working with Shopify’s Online Store 2.0.
Ability to troubleshoot and optimize site speed and performance.
Familiarity with Shopify Metafields and data structuring.
Strong UX/UI design sense to create conversion-driven storefronts.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Customize & develop Shopify themes using Liquid, CSS, and JavaScript.
Optimize site performance, ensuring fast load times and best SEO practices.
Implement custom sections, metafields, and dynamic content within Shopify themes.
Troubleshoot and fix theme-related bugs, broken layouts, and performance issues.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure a seamless customer journey.
Integrate Shopify apps and APIs to enhance store functionality.
Stay up to date with Shopify best practices, updates, and new features.
Preferred Experience:
Experience working with Shopify Plus features (e.g., Shopify Scripts, Checkout Extensibility).
Knowledge of Shopify CLI, GitHub, and local theme development.
Experience with third-party app integrations like Recharge, Klaviyo, or Attentive.
Knowledge on landing page builds and apps
A portfolio showcasing previous Shopify store builds or customizations.
Work Schedule:
Remote Position – Must be available to work during the following hours:
Monday – Friday: 9 AM – 5:30 PM EST
