We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support our multifamily real estate asset and property management activities. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in bookkeeping, data entry, and report generation. Previous experience in the real estate industry, particularly multifamily property management, is highly desired. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
Invoice Processing: Accurately enter invoices from multiple vendors into our accounting system (Resman).
Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and identify any discrepancies.
Resident Information Management: Review resident information, identify missing or incomplete data (e.g., expired renter's insurance, incomplete pet profiles), and create reports and action item lists for follow-up.
Report Generation: Create various reports as needed, including financial reports, occupancy reports, and maintenance reports.
Data Entry: Perform general data entry tasks as required.
Communication: Communicate effectively with the team.
Other Administrative Tasks: Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or data entry.
Experience in the real estate industry, especially multifamily property management, is a strong plus.
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Reliable internet connection and computer.
Bonus Points:
Experience with property management software (Resman).
Knowledge of real estate terminology.
